Start with your daily routine

The best rental area is not always the cheapest or the most popular. Start with your workplace, school, usual transport route, food options and expected travel time. A slightly higher rent near MRT may save time and transport cost every day.

选择租房区域时,不一定最便宜或最热门就是最好。应先考虑上班或上学地点、交通路线、生活便利度及通勤时间。靠近地铁的租金可能稍高,但每天节省的时间和交通成本也很重要。

Central and city fringe

Areas such as Tanjong Pagar, Bugis, Novena, Queenstown and Kallang are convenient for professionals working around the CBD or city fringe. Rental is usually higher, but commute is easier.

丹戎巴葛、武吉士、诺维娜、女皇镇、加冷等地区适合在市中心或市区边缘工作的专业人士。租金通常较高,但通勤会更方便。

East, West and North options

The East offers lifestyle and airport access. The West is useful for NUS, NTU and one-north. The North can offer better value for tenants who do not need to travel to the CBD daily.

东部适合重视生活环境或靠近机场的人;西部适合靠近NUS、NTU或one-north的人;北部则可能较有价格优势,适合不需要每天去市中心的租客。
